The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, is one of the most popular events at Walt Disney World Resort. It is back for its 32nd year with more than ever to see and do. From Feb. 28 to May 27, 2024, guests can enjoy the beauty of spring with brilliant gardens, fresh flavors, rockin’ entertainment, and, more at the park.

This year, the festival features new Flower and garden festival 2024 concerts, topiaries, outdoor kitchens, tours, and merchandise that celebrate the season. Here are some of the highlights of what’s new and exciting at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 24:

  • Groot, the flora colossus from the “Guardians of the Galaxy” trilogy, makes his debut as a topiary near Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in World Discovery. He joins more than 70 other topiaries, including Figment in the newly opened World Celebration Gardens and Miguel and Dante from Disney Pixar’s “Coco” in Mexico.
  • The Garden Rocks concert series, which features local and global acts performed daily at the American Gardens Theatre, welcomes new groups such as Modern English, Crowder, Lit, and Monsieur Perine. Guests can also book dining packages to secure priority seating for their favorite performances.
  • The Outdoor Kitchens, which offer delicious dishes and drinks inspired by different regions and cuisines, introduce new menus and locations. Some new offerings include the Honey Bee-stro, which serves honey-based dishes and beverages, and the Citrus Blossom, which showcases citrus flavors and Florida produce.
  • The Festival Center, located in the former Wonders of Life pavilion, is the hub of the festival, where guests can learn from experts, shop for exclusive merchandise, and enjoy interactive exhibits and demonstrations. The center also hosts the Royal Tea Garden Tour, which takes guests on a guided walk through the United Kingdom pavilion’s tea garden, followed by a tea and scone tasting.
  • The Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration, a family-friendly scavenger hunt, invites guests to follow the trail of Spike, the honey bee, as he pollinates flowers across the park. Guests can purchase a map and stickers at select merchandise locations and receive a prize upon completion.
  • The Festival Merchandise, which includes apparel, accessories, home decor and more, features new designs and characters. Some new items include a Groot-themed spirit jersey, a Figment-inspired ear hat, and a Spike the Bee sipper cup.

Is the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival Free?

The Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is not free, but it is included with the cost of admission to Epcot. You will need a valid park ticket, which starts at $109, to enter Epcot and enjoy the festival. However, some activities and experiences at the festival may require a separate fee or reservation. Such as the Garden Rocks concert series, the Royal Tea Garden Tour, and the Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration.
